Wound field d.c. motors,
MM series |
These are laminated square stator motors with very high power/size ratio.
Executions with also compensating windings are available for constant power variable speed applications.
The overtemperature is in F class, though almost all materials employed have H class capability. Armature windings from MM160 up to 570 Vd.c. Forced cooling with radial or axial fan, further constructions according to IEC 34.6 and special executions with emergency electromagnetic brake are available. | |
